We’re thrilled to announce we’ve received 3* World Class Accreditation from Best Companies. This is the sixth consecutive year that we’ve surveyed our people, and we’re delighted to have moved up from a 2* Outstanding company to the 3* World Class status.
97% of our people completed the survey – our highest ever level of engagement to date – meaning we’ve got insights from every corner of our business.
Every single workplace insight has improved since the last survey, which ties into our internal mission of making CBS the best place you ever choose to work.
In particular, wellbeing was a big improvement area. The wellbeing our people is paramount to the ongoing success of CBS, so it’s great to see that the investments and efforts into this area have been recognised and appreciated.
Personal growth also saw significant positive movement, we’re attributing this to the investments made in internal and external L&D, succession planning and internal progressions, as well as the upskilling of all managers and leaders through our internally designed and facilitated HR Manager workshops.
Director of People & Culture, Elise Broderick says:
“To receive World Class status from Best Companies is an amazing achievement for our business – and one that all our People can be proud of their contribution towards. Our goal was to secure 3* accreditation and to use the survey findings to continue to develop and evolve our business and culture to strive towards making CBS the best place our people ever choose to work.”
In addition to the overall accreditation results, we’re entered into the 2024 league tables for UK’s business services companies list, the category of best mid-sized companies in the UK and top companies in the North West. The Best Companies Live virtual event is being held on 7th November – and we’re excited to see the outcome of these results too.
Best Companies recognises the best businesses in the UK. Accreditation is awarded following an employee engagement survey and a comprehensive portfolio of evidence, which are assessed by Best Companies.
