Local Supporting Local – Easter Treats From Slattery for All Employees

Supporting a local business and showing appreciation to their people.

We’re proud to support a local business to provide delicious treats for our people at Easter.

This comes just after Employee Appreciation Month in March, which we extended from Employee Appreciation Day (3 March) to demonstrate just how much we recognise the hard work and dedication of our people.

We chose patissier and chocolatier, Slattery, a family run business established in 1967 based just down the road in Whitefield to create personalised Easter eggs for our CBS teams. As a business based in Bury, employing many local people, we believe in supporting local wherever possible, whether that be other businesses or giving back to local charities.

John Slattery says: “We were delighted to be asked by CBS to create these bespoke Easter eggs for their staff. It’s always nice to work with other local businesses, particularly one who obviously values their staff as much as we value ours.”

Our mission is to make CBS, the best place you ever choose to work by offering an excellent benefits package, learning and development opportunities and a vibrant culture. We benchmarks employee satisfaction with regular surveys and has accreditations from Best Companies to Work For and Investors in People.

Head of People & Customers, Elise Broderick says: “It’s our people that make everything possible, so we like to consistently show our appreciation for their commitment to delivering the very best to our customers and colleagues. Joining together with chocolatier, Slattery, to gift our people with some luxury Easter treats is a great way to support local and partner up with like-minded businesses.”
