Has your role changed since you joined CBS?
I joined CBS in 2007 as a Fleet Administrator in our fleet department before joining our 'quote, order and delivery department' known as Driver Development (DD) in 2008, to manage our first automotive client Audi UK. After 15 years in DD I progressed to Field Operations Manager in April 2023.
What parts of your current role bring you the greatest amount of job satisfaction?
I feel challenged in my role, I’m learning something new every day and enjoy the unknown of what the next day might bring. My role is home based, and I enjoy the flexibility of it, there’s no micromanagement and CBS trust the job gets done.
How would you describe your team culture in three words?
Supportive, collaborative and flexible.
What would be the best advice you could give to a new recruit at CBS?
Be determined, and work hard to pursue your goals, don’t be discouraged any obstacles or setbacks and eventually you will achieve success. Observe what's going on around the business and be curious.
What do you value most about working at CBS?
The salary and benefits package is great! But also the work-life balance and having a positive work culture and good relationships within CBS make it enjoyable.

Has your role changed since you joined CBS?
I started as a Regional Manager in 2016, progressed to Key Account Manager in 2017, Major Account Manager in 2018, Operations Manager in 2020 and my current role, Head of Key Accounts in 2022.
What parts of your current role bring you the greatest amount of job satisfaction?
I enjoy the feeling of responsibility and that my knowledge and experience can make a difference to CBS and my colleagues alike.
How would you describe your team culture in three words?
Family. Passionate. Committed.
What would be the best advice you could give to a new recruit at CBS?
There's no such thing as a silly question and never be afraid to ask the same question multiple times - our solutions can be complex, and it takes people some time to fully understand them. Everyone is here and willing to help.
What do you value most about working at CBS?
Everyone is pulling the same rope in the same direction, a real team spirit, laid on a strong foundation of culture and values.

What parts of your current role bring you the greatest amount of job satisfaction?
Working with my team and wider department to successfully deliver new and improved functionality, usually to challenging deadlines. The way the team comes together is always impressive and shows how much pride we all take in our work.
How would you describe your team culture in three words?
Friendly, inclusive and collaborative.
What would be the best advice you could give to a new recruit at CBS?
Take every opportunity you're given to sit with other teams and departments to get an understanding of how the whole company works together, you are likely to work with most people in some capacity.
What do you value most about working at CBS?
Flexibility within my role. There are times that I have to work long hours and put extra time and effort in, but I still feel my work-life balance is met. This has become even more important to me since having my son.

Don't be frightened of asking lots of questions, even if you have to ask the same question more than once.
